Carrier Roasting Company Burundi Musumba Hill
Carrier Roasting Company is one of my favorite up and coming coffee roasters. They do an amazing job of sourcing and roasting excellent coffee.
Their Burundi Musumba Hill is no exception. This is a delicious coffee with flavor notes of orange blossom, honey, and a bit of raisin.
Carrier sources this coffee from Long Miles Coffee Project, which is run by a small American family living in Burundi and working with local coffee farmers. To learn more about Long Miles check out either website www.longmilescoffeeproject.com.

Caffe Luxxe Sulawesi Toarco Jaya
Sulawesi Toarco Jaya from Caffe Luxxe really surprised me.
Indonesian coffees typically have a earthy, woody, jungly flavor profile. This is what make Sumatran coffees so unique. (To learn more about Indonesian coffee, history, and processing methods check out podcast episode 7 “Sumatra Coffee and Indonesian Coffee-Coffee Origin Focus”).
But this Sulawesi Toarco Jaya is processed differently and tastes very different from most classic Indonesian coffees. Imagine an oatmeal raisin cookie, that’s what this coffee tastes like. It drinks more like a coffee from African than Indonesia.
Super unique and delicious.
