11. Costa Rica – Coffee Origin Focus

Costa Rican Coffee Recommendations:

Costa Rican coffee is some of the finest, most delicious coffee in the world. There are many different types of coffee from Costa Rica. The classic Costa Rican coffee flavor is mild, clean, easy-drinking, and has a low acidity. Contrast this with the innovative, interesting honey-processed coffees that typically have a heavier body and a wide range of flavors.

Here are a few of my favorite Costa Rican coffees:

Evans Brothers Coffee Roasters:

As of airing this podcast there aren’t any Costa Rican coffees listed on their website.  There were just a few days ago as I was preparing this.  So be on the look out.  And honestly, these guys are one of my favorite coffee roasters.  All of their stuff is delicious.

Brandywine Coffee Roasters

Brandywine offers several selections from Costa Rica including a Red Honey and a Black Honey coffee.  These are unique and well worth a try. Brandywine is another excellent coffee roasters. And just look at these bags, really unique!

Cafe Milagro

Cafe Milagro is a boutique coffee roasters from Costa Rica.  They offer house blend light and dark roast coffees and some really excellent signature series coffees, which are limited reserve coffees from small, independent coffee farmers that they partner with.
