14. Interview with Jeff Borack from Angels’ Cup

Angels Cup

I encourage you to check out Angels Cup.  I am a very happy Angels Cup customer and love being able to explore some many different coffees.  My palate and ability to appreciate different flavor notes in coffee has improved dramatically since using their service.  This is a great way for you to explore coffee, improve your coffee tasting skills, and join a cool community.

Mentioned in this Episode:

Jeff and I mentioned a few things in this episode that I wanted to link to.

First, allow me to correct something that I misspoke during this episode.  I get an order of Angels Cup Black Box every other WEEK, not every other MONTH.  A minor error but I’m a stickler for details.

Cork Dork

Jeff mentioned recently reading Cork Dork, an in depth look at the wine industry.  There are a lot of similarities between wine and coffee.  One of those similarities is what makes a wine or coffee taste good and interesting.

I’m always looking for a new and interesting book.  After this interview I bought the audiobook version of Cork Dork on Audible.

Brandywine Coffee Roasters

I have mentioned Brandywine Coffee Roasters a few times previously.  I really like what these guys are doing–amazing packaging, great unique coffee, and excellent roasters.  If you haven’t tried some of their coffee yet what are you wanting for?

Paradise Coffee Roasters

Jeff also mentioned Paradise Coffee Roasters as a specialty coffee roaster that was doing an amazing job sourcing unique coffee.  I have not tried their coffee yet but I did recently order a few bags based on Jeff’s comments during this interview.

One really interesting thing that Paradise Coffee Roasters does is offering Light, Medium, and Dark roast coffees.  Many specialty coffee roasters only offer light roasts.
